That's where Songstats comes in, the new app from the team behind 1001Tracklists. Songstats compiles essential playlist, chart and stream data for artists, labels and industry professionals, to give you real-time insights on the performance of each release. We caught up with Oskar Eichler from Songstats/1001Tracklists to find out more about how the app works...

The new app sounds incredible - how would you sum up Songstats to someone who has never heard of it?


Think of Songstats as the all-in-one home for your music data. Anything that happens to your tracks across the most important streaming services and download stores will show up here. It's the result of your hard work, and also the opportunity to grow even further.

Which features are you most excited about artists and labels being able to use?

Push notifications on the Songstats mobile app are awesome to always stay up to date and immediately see when one of your releases is being added to a new playlist, reaches a new chart or is being featured on any of the platforms. The ability to automatically generate custom story artworks for these accomplishments makes it as easy as two taps to share them directly with your fans.

What inspired you to start working on Songstats?

Songstats in its current form has been in the works for over three years, and the version that you see today is the result of a combination of ever developing ideas, great user feedback and a lot of work to keep improving the platform.

At its core, the idea behind Songstats was always to create a tool that empowers musical creators with the knowledge they need to amplify their careers.
