That's a wrap! Once again, we're fast approaching December 31st and asking ourselves where the last 12 months have gone?! As we look back at the year, despite the ongoing challenges that the music industry has faced, there have definitely been plenty of positives to focus on - the return of live events being a particular highlight, and of course, the incredible music being released every single week that has kept us dancing.

As a company, 2021 has been an opportunity for us to lay the foundations for the next chapter of the Label Worx story. We've continued to develop strong relationships with our partner DSPs, collaborate with new platforms, and invest heavily in our own infrastructure to ensure every label we work with continues to receive the best support and industry-leading tools to drive their own success through total independence.

Next year is our 15th anniversary and we've got big plans to celebrate. We'll be launching our new dashboard to revolutionise the way you manage your label, we'll be revealing a totally new vision for Label Worx that reflects our position as dance music's biggest independent distributor, and plenty more surprises on top of that!

For now, we'd like to sign off for the year by sharing some of our 2021 highlights and taking the opportunity to thank all the labels, artists, DSPs, brands, managers, publicists and everyone we work with every single day - none of this happens without you.

Average Growth per DSP: 36.6%

Total Number of Tickets Responded to in 2021: 54,639

Average Ticket Resolution Time: 7.6 Hours

Operations:

Welcoming 7 new members to the team, we've focussed heavily on extensive internal training to ensure our specialist staff are able to provide the high-quality support that we pride ourselves on. As a result of this investment, our industry-leading approach is setting a standard for distribution with an average ticket resolution time of 7.6 hours.

Moving into 2022, we will build on this by continuing to develop comprehensive learning resources that empower the labels who use the Label Worx system and services. With over 200 internal and external support articles created or reviewed this year alone, a full review and update to our entire Knowledge Base will continue into 2022 with additional direct support, help and information being shared with labels weekly.

Distribution / A&R:

Our labels have been busy this year!

Personal projects have been put into action with an influx of brand new artist-led labels being launched, we've overseen the successful relaunch of the legendary MAW Records by Masters At Work, and have welcomed some huge labels to the family including PRYDA, Loci Records, La Luna, ViVa Music, ORIGINS RCRDS, Exx Music, Darklight Recordings, Tamango Records, Panda Eyes Records, Moveltraxx, BOX RED, D'EAUPE and many more.

With particularly strong results in places like Russia, Asia and Africa, we put a focus on strengthening our relationships with DSPs in emerging territories this year to ensure our labels are getting the best results, visibility and opportunities for success and the industry grows.

After launching in December 2020, this year has been a crucial moment for our production and education platform. In just 12 months, we've hosted webinars with companies like Facebook, Spotify, YouTube and Bandcamp, collaborated with producers including Seb Zito, Josh Butler, Waeys, and Bushbaby, and we've launched a Mixtank record label with tracks from Kinnerman and Daniel Orpi.

Next year we'll be launching our first label collaboration with This Ain't Bristol and masterclasses from Marc Spence and Kyle Watson, we're working on exciting partnerships with some huge brands and will continue to provide free production tutorials alongside exclusive courses from the scene's biggest names.
